FLYING A PUPPY
Shipping Your Puppy
We have been flying our pets for almost as long as
we have been breedingYour puppy will fly out of Greenville Spartanburg or Charlotte International Airport using one of the two following Carriers of our choice... Delta Airlines PetsFirst or American Airlines.
We use the above airlines because both plane and warehouse facilities are climate-controlled for the safety of your puppy.
Please note: To ensure comfort in any weather conditions, even traveling between warehouse and planes, your puppy will be in climate controlled vehicles. Pets will be the last cargo loaded and the first cargo unloaded from the plane.
The cargo area for the puppies will be the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin
*2 puppies can fly together for same price as 1*
Within 10 days of departure, your puppy will be examined by our Veterinarian to ensure that it is healthy,up to date on vaccinations, and able to handle the stress of flight.If you decide to fly your new puppy..remember to consider the weather conditions, as well as the outside temperatures.Puppies will not travel if temperatures fall below 35 degrees or rise above 85 degrees at any airport they will be along the way.In the Summer we do have some airport connections that follow a summer program and allow puppies to fly up to 90 degrees.Your puppy must be 8 weeks old to fly and We at Wennie Hill Kennels will not allow your puppy to be picked up from our home until it is 6- 8 + weeks.Some breeds require longer time with their mommy and we do not allow puppies to leave for their new homes until we feel they are completely healthy and sound as well as eating and drink on their own.
To help familiarize your puppy for travel, we will introduce the crate it will be flying in.This will help the puppy feel more secure and it sets a good foundation for crate training/housebreaking
your new family member.
